Introduction
Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Shahdara was established way back by Delhi Administration under the aegis of Department of Training & Technical Education, Delhi in the year 1963, so that youth get employment and improve entrepreneurship by assimilating skill in them. The institute provided training, support and guidance for majority of operations /area right from traditional to modern one or the areas where skill development is inadequate.
The institute is having 20 Acre (80938 Sq.Mtr.) of land. Institute proposed to construct a new building and workshop area (Basement+ Ground+ 8 stories) in 15000 square meter landwith all modern facilities inplace of old and existing infrastructure, as it was in service for more than four to five decades and served its useful life as per the requirement of particular operation/trade.
Time to time institute interact with industries to adapt latest technological advancement /skill for particular operations so that trainees are able to take pace with industries.
Total Electricity sanctioned load = 186 KW (Proposed load requirement= 560 KW)
